Using painting techniques, materials and an aesthetic sense unique to Japanese painting, Atsushi Mizushima has pioneered the never-before-seen world of “Japanese Dinosaur Painting”. This is the first collection by Mizushima featuring over 60 artworks. Including a conversation with Makoto Manabe (National Museum of Nature and Science) and commentary by Hiroki Okamoto (Professor at Kobe University of the Arts). These works have also been in the spotlight because of a collaboration with the National Museum of Nature and Science’s “Dinosaur Expo 2023”, which garnered the attention of the charismatic dinosaur scientist Makoto Manabe.
