Snakes - Gadi - Sterling Silver Mookaite Earrings

These Snake earrings are completely Sterling Silver with Mookaite stone beads.
Handcrafted using Sterling Silver sheet and Sterling Silver Wire.

They are approx 3.4cm long from loop and approx 2.1cm from widest part.

Light weight which makes them a great earring to wear.

Sonia is the eldest of four Children, born in Wiradjuri Country, the land of the three rivers, Dubbo NSW. My Mob is from Kooma from South West Queensland near the Cunnamulla area.

Sonia has made jewellery since early childhood with a flair for the unusual, however life gets in the way of your passions. Over the years I have been working in construction, being fortunate enough to complete a Carpentry Apprenticeship.

Sonia loves to work in sterling silver and semi-precious stones which add colour and dimension to her pieces. I am proud to have created a collection of jewellery bringing my Ancestor's storytelling symbols into a modern light with non-traditional wearable art. Most of this collection is named in Wiradjuri Language, helping everyone understand and appreciate our Culture.
