The Lilly Pilly fruit matures from December to February as a pear-shaped red berry, known as a Riberry, growing to 13 mm long. The berry has a tart, cranberry-like flavour, that has a hint of cloves.

Traditionally known as a medicine berry, The Lilly Pilly berries in their raw state were used to treat ailments such as ear infections. One of the four rich superfood native fruits, the Lilly Pilly berry contains vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, fruit acids, phytosterols and essential fatty acids which help protect and enrich the skin.
