About Martin

Martin Edge sees the world differently. His self-described naïve style paintings reflect his own joyful version of our busy world. Edge began painting in 2007 and has since exhibited in numerous solo and group shows with representation in state and national collections. Although Martin’s subject range varies according to his travels, his favourite thing to paint is the city he calls home – Brisbane. When Martin walks the familiar streets of his home-town, he always sees something new. “The busyness of the city is one of my favourite scenes to paint. Martin is also an ambassador of Autism Queensland.
