Cinnamon Myrtle is found in Sub-Tropical areas of NSW and QLD.

The leaves, when crushed, impart a cinnamon-like fragrance and are being experimented with by some innovative cooks. It can be used to replace conventional cinnamon and has a more subtle flavour and aroma, earthy and warm nature to it.

Use it in pastries, sweets, spice blends sweet or savoury, or as leaves steeped in hot water to make a herbal tea.
