DILMIRRUR is the Lardil word for Dugong. These are apart of the ‘Wulkuraka Spirit Designs’.

The Dugong is a beautiful marine animal living around North Queensland Australia. Known for their quiet nature and long lifespan of 70 years or more. The Dugong has a unique place in our Dreamtime. Some of our elders regard dugongs as part of their Aboriginality.

As these earrings are a part of our Wulkuraka Spirit Designs’ they are surrounded by elements of Earth (dots) and our position in the Milky Way - Solar System (moons/stars). Top of earring is a mirror black stud with dots representing a yarning circle. Bottom is a small black diamond sharp charm showcasing the anchor point we have in our lives. Grounding us to be better in our lives.
